Property Inspection - to substantiate presence of safety mechanism £15
Should the Property not be compliant to current regulation (BSEN60335-2-73:2003 household and similar appliances-safety:particular requirements for fixed immersion heaters) (new install standards) - we can fit there and then the following. A new control thermostat complete with over temperature cut out meeting the above standards. This unique safety rod control thermostat incorporates a '1 shot' over temperature sensor which cannot be reset by hand and thus insures that the control thermostat originally causing 'overtemperature condition' is replaced and not merely reset to fail again. This unit incorporates 2 independent sensing mechanisms and two sets of 16a switch contacts providing effective temperature control with fast irreversible over temperature cut out should the control rod fail.
To fit this it will cost an additional £35 +vat (total no more than £45 per property +vat)
